2011 is here but i am afraid to welcome 2012

I learned " the past is history, the future is a gift because it is the present and the future is a mystery". This happens to be very true. Back in 1999 people had worries about going into 2000. All was well and nothing bad happened to the world. 2012 is next year and I hope it will pass without the disaster some people believe will happen. The number 13 is meant to be unlucky. Just imagine 2013 then because the time of it is getter nearer.

Well I'm pretty sure it won't be like the film lol although I do believe that the Mayans were predicting a change in the way that the world works, not that it will end then. My impression of reading different aspects of Mayan theory is that they believed that the world changes in cycles and that the next cycle will begin on 22nd December 2012 as the present one ends on 21st Dec 2012. It's a rebirth rather than a cataclysmic end so try not to stress too much.

It's nothing to do with the movie nor the Mayan predictions that we should be concerned about. This topic I've addressed already in previous discussions: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2342355.aspx?p=2 There is something we can do as individuals that will have the greatest effect for the least cost (saves money even) on prolonging climate change, global warming & the end of the world in 2012 as NASA scientists & many others have predicted. We can each adopt a vegan organic diet & quickly cool this planet & protect what we have. The end is predicted to be December 2012, but millions will die or be seriously affected by natural disasters all over the world increasing in both frequency & intensity as time goes by. Time is short indeed! What will you be doing?

Hi fgb_fritz! Yeah, i am glad 2010 is finally coming to an end. I love welcoming the new year as it grants us a fresh start to the year. I don't really believe in predicted end of the world. Even if it is true, so what? Just live your life to the fullest in 2011 and make sure that you have no more regrets.

Don't worry yourself too much my friend. Nobody could ever predict what will going to happen next or if it's really the end of the world by 2012. Don't be so affected by the movie. Just enjoy your life, every single bit of it.

Haven't you a read an article in yahoo a month ago? It says that the prediction of the Mayans for 2012 is not in 2012. They made an error in calculating. They it will go beyond 2012 but that event will come when a massive solar flare may change life as we know it.
