11 million US dollar Christmas Tree!!

Yep. I've heard of it too. I can't imagine how other people spend money. Just because they have lots of money they don't know where to put it. In fact, they are just wasting while others are crawling due to hunger.

That is surreal. Makes you think how much of an affluent the owner of the hotel is. I mean, he can just put up a simple christmas tree. It's just a display after all. It doesn't have to be flourished with gems and what not.

Makes me think "where will they get the funds to cover that expense?" well, most probably on the room rates and services. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. But still, people checking in those types of hotels spend money like water. So, it's no biggy really. As for the poor, well, if we all were that kind-hearted, perhaps there would be less poor around. But remember, the poor will always be there. It's up to them to get out of their situation. We only need to assist but not support.

Wow that's amazing. And what would be more amazing is if they spent that money on their goverment. I would not be at all surprised if that tree gets robbed.

Hmm....sounds like some people are profiting from that. $11 million for a X'mas tree? Even if I only get 10% of the amount, I'd still end up rich.

Oh my gosh! 11 million dollars? adorned with gold and gems? Wish i could see it! :) But i agree to you that it is betetr if they donated those money to the poors. But maybe they want to celebrate christmas in that way? And if we think about it it will sure give happiness to everyone who sees it. :) And for your creativity Five star for it :) Being creative and making your own christmas decorations is amazing. :)
