Gold, temptation and greed

Hi Mylotters, good day. Alright, I've been thinking about this and it's in my mind, which I've really thought hard about it and wanted to share it with you guys. Ok, here's the thing, as what you've seen---gold. I've always been curious that, if you find gold in a hidden place, like a hole, which was covered with leaves, to hide the gold, or somewhere really discreet, what would you do? Will you let out a sinister laugh and say:"Muahahaha, I've STRUCK GOLD!!!", or you just keep quiet as though nothing has happened, leave it there and come for it the next day. I know it's really hard to resist the temptation of it and it's human nature. When you see gold, you'll immediately lose your judgement and become so tempted to take it right? Ok, talking about that makes me drool already LOL. Seriously, what will you do? For me, I don't really know yet, but I think I'll be mad for hours and maybe take one or two bars back home? Well, I don't know. I have to see it to think about it later

If its in bars, I'd have to know someone who would really purchase them in that since, you can't easily just go somewhere to have it sold without the government wondering where you got the gold bars from. Perhaps the one who hid that gold would catch word of your discovery and you might get unexpected visits from uncertain people. Of course, we would get such selfish urges if ever situated in such a predicament, but if I can still maintain my proper judgement, I'd try to leave it be and if its still there after a long time, I guess I'll see what I can do

I guess if I am really in such a need for things like that, I might consider, but such great amount would also be a reason for bad things to happen. In your narrative, you stated that you found it somewhere. Most probably, it was hidden in such a way for if it were not gained from anything wrong, why would be hidden in the first place in such a location? Vaults or safety deposit boxes in banks would be good places for such wealth.

Hmm...but it's right in front of our eyes. Not taking it is kind of a waste

Hmmm I would definitely want to grab them all and run back to my house, then maybe sell it afterwards and get rich But to think about it back, I believe in karma, so if I took it then maybe my life will not be safe after that, or maybe some bad things will happen to me or my family, who knows. And what if the real owner found out in the end that I was the one who took it? Would be a real trouble eh? Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

It could be. There's a huge possibility though. Unless you take it and then store it in a secret basement for years then take it out and sell for money LOL! But I think the real owner should be able to track.

Hi JudgeIronFist, Gold? What would I do with those bars? If I wanted to try to sell them... the Agents would be on my back and I would not have enough to share some with them to escape Yes, but I wonder what would happen if that bar was found by any lady... especially the ones who are fanatics when it comes to gold and ornaments A tough choice and a hard decision to make. Cheers, theSids.

I will take it right away. If i were to wait, maybe some other lucky souls would have found it and leave nothing for me. Much as i don't want to be greedy, i would be tempted to carry as much as i can, yet knowing i will lose some of them along the way too. It's human nature and instinct, taking more than what we can actually bring along.

Ya. That's right. Those who say they are not greedy are really either mad or they are liars

Hi JudgeIronFist! Well, who wouldn't take it? I mean it's gold right in front of your eyes! For me, i would take the bars one by one every single day so as not to attract unwanted attention. Only those whom isn't human would say they won't take it(No offense to anyone). Every human gives in to temptation in some way or another.

Drools hahaha. If I discover bars of gold to a somewhat hidden place, maybe I'll take one bar and keep quite. One bar is fairly a lot of money, Maybe sell it and put the money in the bank to prevent suspicions from people around you. Then maybe go back the next day and move the golds somewhere I that I think is safe enough. There might be other people who would accidentally found it lol.

hi Judgeironfist first off did any of you think about how the bars of gold got there? I would be scared spitless to take itas it is most likely ill gotten gold and somebody was robbed of it.If you take it you may find yourself in trouble. I would call the local police, tell them where you found it and how it looks and ask if anyone has been robbed of gold and re ported it.You may be rewarded for reporting it as its likey been stolen. I know I would want it but wou ld report it.
