That is a true statement not only for the weekend, but also for the weekdays when I have to attend to work. I work on the first shift, so I must get up early in the morning, around 4:50 A.M. my latest. Lately, I just getting lazy, due to the cold weather. I just don't want to get up, and I just want to stay warm. Anyway, I had to force myself to get up, and no matter what, I still need to make money. When I think of how many bills I need to pay, and how much credit cards I need to pay off, I just have to get up no matter how cold. Gosh, life just not that easy.

Its the same condition for me too..
The temperature is getting down here too. though my working hours are from 8 a.m, i reach office by 10 these days. Well just need some inspiration to wake up early.. So am like planning to start some jogging and exercise and my friends are also joining. so i hope that will give me a reason to wake up, atleast by seeing my friends.

My biggest motivation just to make some money, and make more money, so I have to be awake, and go to work. Otherwise, I can't pay for my bills and other stuff. Keep on working and working.

I am like you, i have to get up to work but yet i do not want to get out of bed. Every morning i wake up i am so warm, yet when i get out of bed i am instantly cold and feel even more cold when i look outside and see all the snow knowing that i soon have to go out to work. I need to work for the money but the weather here is reezing, it has snowed all week and the snow is so thick. My house has always been a cold house and never gets that warm even when the heating is on. I always have 2 duvets on my bed at this time of year to keep me warm, no wonder i don't want to get out of my bed. I have to work as unfortunately money does not grow on trees, no wonder i love the summer, much warmer.

OMG. So so true. We don't have a heater on our shower so it worsens my feeling of laziness. I just washed my hair a while ago because it was too cold. As soon as January and February enters, it will be colder than ever. I am not yet married but I pay all the bills at home voluntarily and I just signed up my own insurance policy so I really need to earn no matter what.

It is easier to just stay in. However I do like to get up and get busy early in the morning, because I am generally an early riser. I am not working outside of the home right now, though. We have not had any snow or even any rain so far this fall and winter, so it is a little easier to deal with getting up and out. I have worked at jobs where I had to get up very early. You just do what you have to do because of your job.

Although there are days when I'd like to stay warm under the covers and not get up, there will be someone who will wake me up. It's my daughter, she wakes up between 6.30 and 7am. So that's about the latest I can stay in bed. On school days, my husband goes to work at 6am, so I will prepare for his breakfast at 5am.
Luckily, I'm a morning person

I know what you mean. I feel that way too in the mornings. It gets so cold here during the winters and I'm usually warm and cozy snuggling in my blankets that I don't want to get out. But like you said, I have to get up and go to work since I have bills to pay and things I need to do. Luckily for me I work the late shift so I don't really have to force myself to wake up so early everyday.

These last few bitter cold days of winter have made me think twice about getting out of bed in the mornings. I have to get up early in the mornings to get my daughter up for school. When the morning is cold, I don't look forard to this at all.

You are absolutely right dear, life never been that easy. I also hate to force myself getting up in the morning especially when the weather is too cold. I would wish to be wrapped up with my blanket and stay warm all day. But thinking of all the bills, food, and other basic needs, there is nothing else I could do other than be strong, get up, and get ready. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

I feel your pain. I HATE the cold, and this year we have had unusually cold temperatures, and a lot of wind, especially in the early mornings. Not only is it hard to get myself up, but getting up my kids--OMG! And then getting them outside to the bus stop, and standing there in the freezing cold with no shelter is a nightmare. It is only December and I can't wait for spring! That's it. . .I'm going back to bed to hibernate!

I personally do not mind getting up and outside in the morning, even in the deepest of cold, but fighting my daughter to get her into her cold weather gear is never fun.
I do wish I could just lay in bed once in a while, but with having a 2 year old that does not happen.

I have the same drama every morning too. I choose to go straight to shower room so that my body will be awake because of water. Feeling lazy to wake up as if waiting for the time to pass 5 mins. But still too lazy. That's life.

Yes, life is like that. It's hard. But back to the topic, a cold weather is really hard to resist, as in, it's hard to get off the bed and the weather is so good for sleeping and getting some warmth.

I work in 10-7 timing but still find it difficult to wake up at 7 am. It is too cold and want to stay inside the blanket. I will wake up by 8:30 am and after that it would be just run for everything, run for the morning activities, breakfast, petrol pump and than office.
