English is criteria or not

There might be a chance that broken English could influence our earnings in a negative way. If some users can't understand well your messages because you don't speak English well, they might rate your responses negatively, and this could influence your earnings. But I hope there are only a few users who would do that. Since English is the language used in mylot and in the cyberworld, it is of paramount importance that you use this language to interact with people in mylot as this is the only language recognized by mylot. It is not necessary to be perfectly good as long as you can put your views across and can be understood by others. In time to come you will gradually improve as many have admitted that coming to mylot has greatly improved their English. I am one of those who has benefited from constantly interacting with the native speakers but there are still so much for me to learn. English like any other languages is not easy to be fully competent. Constant usage will see good results and earn you confidence.

Of course not. MyLot is a forum where we share knowledge, ideas and opinions. All you need to do is to be clear enough to let other people understand you. You don't need to be a writer or a poet just to express your opinion, do you? Besides, I think your english is fine, because you expressed yourself well. Don't worry about all this. Just be honest and sensible, that's all.

English is not the basis that you will earn money but then it is required language to use here at myLot since this is not bi-lingual and yet English is the universal language. They won't allow other languages if that is not English. So just follow the guidelines. It is not about being good and excellent in writing English language.

True sameer,english is a must not just here in mylot but in some other sites as well. English is a medium of instruction and almost all people from different countries do understand english that is why english is the language being used. Imagine if mylot is bilingual and someone here from the Philippines would write in tagalog,how can the members respond to your discussion if they don't understand tagalog,right? So it's better to use english anyway. It's alright if you have a terrible grammar,for as long as we understand what you want to convey,it's enough for us.
