I don't trust everything a Doctor says at all. YOU need to do your own research and figure out what the best course of action is for you. I tell this to new parents every day when they take their children in for a well-baby visit and inject them with all these vaccines. The vaccine schedule in the United States is ridiculous and that's simply because we give too many vaccines and we roll them all into one so that the Doctors make the most money possible. We are currently vaccinating for whooping caugh, yet thousands of kids are getting whooping caugh every year! The vaccine is no longer working and we still shoot our kids up with it!

There are some doctors who are honest about their work. This is both telling the patient honest truth and trying to spare the patient an arm and leg, unless of course they are losing an arm or a leg. You need to see the right doctor to get the right treatment. Any old medical doctor can tell you what's wrong and charge you what they want, but be careful you don't find some creepy person off the side of the road diagnosing you. If they don't have sterile instruments the chance of them knowing anything medical is highly unlikely.
