Christmas is the only celebration that we have it so grand. It will be an open house in my mom's place where we used to hold our annual christmas celebration. Free flow of foods and drinks for all who come to celebrate the occasion with the family. The kids are the happiest people as they gets a lot of gifts during that day.

We do not have family in North Carolina where we live now so we have friends come over and spend the day with us. We are also watching our neighbors dog for the week. It should be a fun filled day with lots of food and good times for all

I do not have a lot of people over at Christmas for a meal. I do not think I am a good enough cook to invite people over(besides me sister) for a meal. I am sort of a shy person....so we don't invite friends and family over either....the most we have had at one time would be 8 people.....and that has only been a few times in the 22 years. I know some people love to entertain....but it's just not for me.

In spite of being Hindu by religion, we celebrate Christmas in our own way with plenty of lights and fireworks and nothing else.

Christmas is better when you're family is complete. A family that is complete will enjoy a fulfilling Christmas. Christmas for a family with missing members will not be fun.

When my parents lived in their old house, four hours to the north, my family used to get together every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas however, hubby and I couldn't come every year because we were states away, not just out of town due to hubby being in the Army but when we were 'home' my brothers and their wives and kids all came to our parents house to celebrate and gifts were exchanged. Those were the good ole times which are long ago pasted. Now it's just my parents, myself and my hubby.

I love entertaining but don't get to do it often. Usually, Christmas is the only time that I'm able to really put on a big to-do with the food, the gifts, etc. I've always had Christmas at my house, at least since I've had kids. I'd have the whole family over and loved every minute of it, even though I'm usually exhausted afterwards. Now, my family had dwindled down to my sons and, hopefully, they'll both be here Christmas day. I also have a good friend and her family come for the day, although I've tried talking them into staying at least two days. They live about 110 miles from here and it's not that far to drive so I guess they'd prefer their own beds. (I really can't blame them. I prefer my own bed, too.) I might have another old friend over this year. I've known him longer than anyone else except my own cousins, since I was 16 years old. We kinda bumped into each other after not seeing one another for a few years now and have been catching up and going over old times. It's been a lot of fun and I hope he can come and spend the weekend here. That would be awesome. I'd love to have lots more people here, actually. I sure do cook enough food! I just wish my husband wasn't so anti-social! What a Scrooge he can be! Bah, humbug! By the way, how is the Commander doing these days? I haven't seen him around in awhile. Hope all is well. Take care and I hope you have the very best Christmas ever!

I am going to celebrate Christmas Eve with my parents, my brother and my grandmother. I look forward to a nice evening with my family. We eat the traditional christmas dinner and afterwards we sing some christmas songs and open the presents. On December 26 my hsuband and I are going to visit my husband's aunt. She is having a christmas party and many of husband's relatives will be there. We are not having any christmas parties in our own home. We are going to move soon and everything is a mess with boxes and bags everywhere, but maybe next year

We do celebrate Christmas with family and friends. Christmas is the most wonderful season in the year. We always have parties and exchange of gifts during the party. Christmas for me is fun fun fun. I also love the games we play during Christmas parties plus the costume for themed parties.
