Today, I burrowed an external Hard drive to back all my documents, and other important stuff. I am ready to reformat and re-install Vista. My only problem now, is do I have to download drivers for my 6950G laptop, but I do not know which ones. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

hey jacobus , i would suggest that after you backup your laptop install any one of these software which might help you automatically search for updated drivers and allow you to download and install them. 1: Driver Detective http://www.driverdetective.org/ 2: Driver Genius Professional http://www.driver-soft.com/download.html i hope this helps. happy myloting !

Thank you for your response. The biggest problem I have is re-installing. I hear you need a whole lot of drivers. And I do not know how.

Well you need to install mostly following drivers.. Bus Controller.. Video Driver. Audio Driver.. Ethernet Driver. Bluetooth/Wi-fi driver. Touch panel driver if your keyboard having touch keys.. These are the basic drivers first you need to have before formatting system.. I suggest download them first then reinstall..
