How do you get ideas for posting discussions in mylot.....?

One should get ideas before starting any work and if you do not have definite idea it will end in a mess.So also when you want to start a discussion in mylot you should start with some definite idea.There are many sources to get ideas like observing human behaviour or remembering some incident in life or going through some book or articles and like that there are many sources.You should also get some new ides and then only then you can start a discussion.As for me I recollect incidents of my past experiences with men and matters and suddenly I get a new idea.With that new idea in mind I start any discussion.How about you..?

I've only started two discussions so far. The first one was a dud, only got one reply. The second one is doing better.
As I was washing dishes tonight I started thinking about something in the past and thought that would be a good topic for discussion.
I agree with you that we should draw on our own memories and experiences. It's best to wait until you have a good solid idea to discuss instead of just trying to make a lot of discussions about nothing, just to get a high post count. The well thought out discussions should get a better response from more people. Or that's what I think anyway.

When you observe our surroundins and people around us we will notice something odd or special which gives ideas for discussion.ur past lie or our conversations or some news are also a good source for getting ideas for discussion.In inner mind there should always a desire to get ideas.These are the ways to get ideas.All the best..

A good question. I myself have been in a MyLot funk lately. I dont know what to start discussions about and I read through discussions adn can't come up with anything to say. Not sure what's wrong with me as normally I can debate/discuss anything and everything. I am jsut in a funk so if anyone has tips for how they get their ideas I too would love to hear them.

A discussion should be original and educative.Ideas come at random and not always.In my experience ideas come while walking or doing some other work and when I sit before my computer I forget the idea and however much I struggle it never occurs again.This happens to me frequently.Just now I got an idea while typing this para.It occured at the begining and now I forget.It is human nature.You be consious of it you get ideas suddenly.If possible note it down in a paper and that will be very helpfull

My discussions start form some of my pet peeves, my habit of being silly and joking about myself, my passions (Environment, Human rights) surprises, some good and some bad. I try to put as much real life into a discussion as possible.

I only started several discussions and almost all of them came from my life.I never think hardly about what discussion to post,but when I am working,having dinner,doing housework,watching TV,chatting with people around me,that is,just living my life as usual, the ideas just came into my mind and then I put them on mylot.
