I like to play the new generation games much more. Mario is a very old game and it is very classical. I think the new games aer better because it is with more AI and therefore you can't follow the same rule to play it. It gives you a big challenge.
I love China

Hello friend,
Video games have shot up the popularity charts in the entire world over the past decade or so. When I was a kid, I would be happy with playing a DAVE/PCMan/mario/tanks,etc on my tv or computer. But these days, the kids won't settle for anything less than a PS or XBOX. While it is good as entertainment, the kids are becoming couch potatoes and they're getting isolated from the outside world. They won't go to the park to play with their friends, they won't read the magazines or newspapers, they will be stuck to the video game all the time, which is not good.

i never play games! the only games I ever played are tetris and free cell..haha..even I play them till today. I think I'm not talented enough in this activity. moreover, I prefer facebook-ing or browsing to playing games. I can't find them enjoyable. :)

well new modern games have ofcourse better grapichs and are more realistic but you can never forget those clasics like super mario, becuase even if they are old those are wich most of us have played in our childhood and we will always fell nostalgic about those games even if halo, modern warfare and others are more advanced, realistic, with better grapichs...

Newer generation for me. Old games are good and all but you get tired of games and always want to move on. I am one of those people who can't wait to try out the new stuff so I am always looking forward to newer games.

Without the old generation, there will be no new generation. I still play old titles, but for now especially during new times, I prefer the new generation for sure.

I'm kind of in the middle on this one... I like going back and playing old games or finding out about old games I missed to get them and play them. I also like the new features added in new games and the fact that you can actually look forward to new games in the new generation. You do realise they're still making Mario, Sonic, and Super Smash Bros games right? lol I think you mean the original's of those games, but still...

Of course I prefer the New generation games than the Older generation games. And it's not cause of the graphics. New generation games just have more interesting games and with the AI that haves improved, it makes it more enjoyable and challenging. Don't get me wrong I still love the Older generation and still take out my SNES just to play it and remember how much I've played that game when I was a kid, but I love the New generation more than the Older generation games.

For me it would be both, actually; I just love older games, they give me such nostalgia, they're very entertaining and I'm really fond of the old school style 2d graphics :) On the other hand, newer games can also be really interesting; I've played some of them and I enjoyed it a lot. So, I guess I don't really have a preference in general, it rather depends on the games themselves.
Take care!
