At what distance it is ideal to watch television

Dear friends most of the time I spend watching T.V at a distance of 1meter.I want to know at what distance is it ideal to watch television so that there minimum effect on eye and health

i dont really care about distances when watching TV but usually i stay about 8 to 10 feets away from the screen. let just say i stay at the distance where i'll be comfortable at that very instance ...

I watch TV from 6-8 ft away. I think 1m is too close.

I heard that a person should stay at least 10 feet away from the television.. I can only keep 8-9 feet distance though.. If you do that, you can lessen the bad effects of tv to your eyes. Kids should be warned not to stay too close to the tv.

ahaha i wonder whats the difference between computer and tv.. im like a magnet to them I know thas bad though...

hi, watch television in a distance you can see, coz your eyes get ache if watch very near, and possible cause of you blurred eyes. even me every time i watch, in a distance i can see.
