I also suggest you take a rest. Your colds and flu may just be an outer manifestation of some internal problem in your body like stress. Stress weakens the immune system, thus you are now prone to colds, flu. Or it is just simply viral. Try taking lots of fluids so your body can wash away the cold and flu viruses.

Are you sure it's a cold, instead of allergies? There are many allergies any more. If it IS a cold or virus, be sure to get enough Vitamin D. They have now discovered that the 400 units of Vitamin D recommended daily is not nearly enough. 1 to 2 thousand units is closer to it.

Sometimes, the positive effects of taking vitamin C takes time to be noticed. Just wait, it will not happen overnight. It may take several days before the effects can be noticed.

very simple, your body need immune system to prevent kinds of virus that cause you get flu, cold, etc. If you feel like your are going to get flu, just eat a lot, I mean a lot, I recommend you to eat rice.
For the time being, I don't like use some medicines, I just eat and eat. And, My motto: You'll never get a flu or cold, even you are infected by another person who have flu or cold, because you have a strong immune system to prevent virus.
