What's up with guys and ear studs?

This is just something I don't get. Lately I have been seeing more and more guys with these giant ear studs. Before it was an earring here and there but now it's right there in your face, you can't miss it. Some of those studs stretch the earlobe so much and I can't imagine how painful it was to get one of those things in. What I don't get is why they are wearing them. It might look cool to them now but years down the road when they want to get rid of it won't they have these saggy earlobes? What do you guys think about this?

I agree, these things look terrible, but I guess that some guys don't have their own opinion, they always follow others. They see a guy wearing those studs and they start doing so too. I find it lame and stupid. Some guys look like girls with these. Awful.

I have to agree with you. Not only does it look ridiculous but it looks painful too. Imagine having all that weight hanging off your ear. It can't be comfortable. But I suppose that is the trend these days. These guys are probably going to look back years down the road and wonder what the heck they were thinking.
