hi everyone, its just of the these days when i am feeling low yet there is no reason to be. i tried checking all discussions of my friends but it seems nothing have taken my fancy hence i just let it go without responding. i want to do something - like respond to mylot discussions. but nothing comes out of my head - like its blank. all i get to feel is my loneliness but i ask myself why should i be? i have many friends, my family loves me. what is wrong with me? i know everybody would sometime feel like what i feel.. what do you do to make whatever is bothering you to leave you and make the smile come back and the enthusiasm to be active and feel alive? ann

...Hi there tigeraunt, Want you to feel better "o). Sit down with a piece of paper and start to list all the things that you are thankful for, starting with the fact that you woke up this morning, that you are able to breathe without an oxygen tank as some people have to do. We tend to overlook the small things that are really important when you thinkl about it. Do you have a warm home to live in, food that you can eat on a daily basis, a job? That your health is in relatively good shape that no doctor has found cancer somewhere in your body. Happiness is relative. You are not in a wheelchair unable to walk on your own two legs. You have your eyesight, what a blessing it is to see and hear, again happiness is relative. Life is not always fair but most of us are so blessed we take things for granted sometimes. Try to remember you are being cared for when you don't even realize it by your better angels, appreciate your good state. Try to remove the negative things, the more you concentrate on the positive things you will become more positive overall. Write down a positive statement and carry it in your purse or wallet, read it daily. If there is a medical problem with depression you have to address it. But look for happiness, you will find it very close to you. Please visit http://healthmad.com/mental-health/using-laughter-to-achieve-healthful-benefits/ Feel better, life is too short. Happy holidays. Cheers.

...Hi again, I am so glad to hear that. Daily life will get you down sometimes, but time takes it, keep on pushing. You take care. Happy healthy holidays to youand all your family my good friend. Keep that lovely smile that's on your face in your picture. It shines and your face lights up. You can do it, keep smiling in spite of it all. "o) Cheers.

Listen to some good music, I'd say some piano music, like Roberto Cacciapaglia, he's a great componist and it'll really calm you down and just give you a moment of rest. Also try going to bed a bit earlier than you're used to, so you'll wake up full of energy, maybe even some earlier than normal. Drink & eat healthy, this will really help to stimulate your body and also eat fruit! Hope this'll help a bit. Good luck! and remember, you're never alone!

It always happen to me especially after commenting to pages and pages of responses from my discussions. I can no longer look at other discussions as my brain juices refuse to flow leaving me blank.I have run out of steam! It is nauseating and even the most interesting discussion suddenly becomes dull and I really don't have any idea how to string my words. I take off and try and refresh and rejuvenate myself. It helps.

Everyone goes thru a moment of depression or should we call down times. I for one , sometimes feel that. In order to shoo such feelings away, i would go to my parents and siblings and talk with them about it. Being with them alone, perks me up. or if i have money i would go to the mall and shop. then, i will eat my favorite food and have some take out so that when my husband arrives from work we will together eat it . then, i will call my daughter on the phone and talk out my problem with her. or i will watch gag programs, one that will make me laugh. But first and foremost, i pray for God to heal me of such bad feelings. Then, those above things to do will follow to completely cheer me up! Cheer up! Life maybe full of trials, but once we conquer them, we come out stronger!

dear simplyd, this feeling seldom happens while i was younger, but i guess as one grows older, one will get many of these. kids are out of the house, having their own lives to live, although not far and they come and visit most of the time especially weekends. i smiled at the thought of food. that was my outlet before. and i gained a lot. i had to go to the park to shed some of it. yes, i think talking to God is the best advise. thank you. have a nice day. ann

You don't have ot be afraid of what you feel right now. I guess, every person goes to that stage especially when a person is in an idle state. I've been worse. I don't do anything at all. I sleep for long hours and when I wake and feel that creepy loneliness, I sleep again! I don't eat sometimes. But every thing changes. When you are back in your old self then every will fall into place. Just smile! and pray. ;)

Guess every living thing has a cycle including humans and this are explained in bio cycles or biorythemes, every body has a down or an up in the cycle, it sometimes explains why we feel down for no apparent reason, like a burn out feeling, If this is the cause then just take a rest and let the cycle past or take it's natural course till it goes up again , good luck

I do feel emptiness in me sometimes. I even ask myself the purpose of my existence as I feel a very important factor is missing in me that's why happiness is hard to achieve. What I can advise you is to go out with your friends and do the things you never did. Experience what you didn't enjoy before because you are not brave enough or afraid what might other people think of you. Cheers!!!

dear lance, i just realized that i am not alone feeling like this. that it is natural to feel like this sometimes, and that if it happens not everyday and always then it is not a disease. thank you for your beautiful advise. i would like to do especially now - Christmas day. Merry Christmas to you and to all that you love. ann

i have felt that a way alot. just hold your head up and keep a smile on your face. i do believe that every body goes though days like that. every body always needs someone to talk to. so maybe you can talk to your family or a friend and that would make things better.
