Banners on new facebookprofile

Does anyone know how to put banners in the new FBprofile?

I don't think Facebook allowed animated image or banner. And i don't know why this feature not available. I too try to upload .gif image file but the animation did't work. Hope FB will change about this thing.

I have an account at Facebook but never ever I have noticed a banner on the profile there. Might be they do not allow this activity there.
