Starcraft 2

I haven't played Starcraft 2 yet, but my favorite in Starcraft is the Protoss. I don't like Zergs. They make me itch! I don't know why I feel itchy when I play Zerg. Is Starcraft2 the same as the first?

I've seen a bit of Heart of the Swarm units and that custom map on Wings of Liberty and there seems to be quite a bit of imbalance with the spawn host thing. It's very beefy and good. I've played a bit of the campaign and I prefer using protoss.

I love starcraft 2! i have recently been playing a lot more. I have tried all the races a fair amount, and i currently like Zerg the best. It is the hardest to play do to all the micro and specific macro that is involved in the play. There is no better feeling than massing up those mutas and watching your opponent scatter his army, not knowing what is goig on :D i do like toss and terran also, but i find that there is so much more to do with zerg, and requires more knowledge and experience to play.

I love it, it is the BEST rts out there right now, it's been played in major tournamets around the world and i hate the choice of making 3 separate games but anyways the story is awesome as well as the multiplayer, i main protoss and im strugglin to reach master's league. But i love it

I agree Starcraft 2 is fun Rts in most respects. My favorite race is Protoss and Zerg cause I think Terran is a little dull but thats is just my opinion. The Campaign is good but it doesnt help that much if you dont play terran

It does kind of suck not being able to play the campaign of the race you want, which does hurt the newer players coming in. I felt like I needed to be Terran because I couldn't keep up on the ladder as zerg (I play Zerg campaigns in SC1). Was a complete noob to laddering but it just takes grinding. If anyone reading this feels overwelmed, it's normal, just keep playing and keep losing, that's the only way to get better---even NesTea said that to be able to win you need to lose first.

Well I find myself missing the slower pace of Starcraft 1. However, given that Blizzard was aiming for an e-sport, it should be no surprise that they tried to make the overall pacing of the game faster as well. No one wants to see five minutes of both players mining before any military units get produced. My favorite race is the Zerg, but I like all 3 races. I really like what they did with the Terrans for SC2. I used to hate them back in the day because they were so slow. But, now with the addition of Barracks add-ons, they're much better. And yes, I blame Activision for every Blizzard decision that involves restricting the players so they can get more money. It reeks of Kotick. Summary: I like the game but hate the business decisions surrounding it.

Starcraft is also a very good spectator sport. I'd also suggest playing the Terran Campaign, you'll get the chance to play a bit of Protoss in the middle part of the campaign.
