The Economy

I have heard tat the economy is bad. People are losing their homes and jobs. I now see foreclosures in areas that never had them. In addition, I see busy restaurants, expensive cars on the road, etc. What do you think? Is the economy getting worse? Are people worse off then they were five years ago?
