Strange, isn't it? Eggs are healthy food, if we eat them in norm, not too much. But last years i just don't eat so much eggs, if i eat it will one or two, not more for long time. If i boil them and eat them after that, i feel heaviness in my stomach. If i fry them, it's the same. I had killing headache after eating 3 or more eggs at once, the heaviness is so strong, like i've eat whole chicken or so... i just want to go to the bathroom in these moments and to vomit.
I just don't know what's wrong with my organism, but i can't eat eggs, even if i like the taste. I'm not allergic at all, but i remember when i was kid i always eat only the yolk, not the whole egg, doesn't matter how the eggs are cooked.
People with same problems here?

Its very strange how our bodies will take some foods and then suddenly decides to NOT anymore. I found out I couldnt eat eggs a long time ago. It was a nice sunny day and I made egg sandwiches for my husband and myself so we could eat outside. I made sure everything was kept cold, so it wasnt food poisoning. A few hours after our picnic I started feeling very sick to my stomach and I thought I was going to die. I called my mom and she said I must be like my aunt and cant eat eggs. So I waited a while and tried eating eggs again and sure enough, I was sick!!
I can eat eggs, but maybe only once a year....no more.
REMEMBER, if you have a reaction to eggs, you need to be careful with "VACCINES" as most are made from an egg base!!

Hello Magical,
i have to check what's wrong, when i eat them in cream it's o.k., when i eat them in cake, it's o.k., when i make something called moussaka (i don't know if it's popular dish in Canada, but here it is), it's o.k. - you know, we put yogurt and 2 eggs for topping on the dish and then we bake that, so when i eat moussaka it's o.k., just when i eat eggs i feel like dying, as you said ...
Headache, laziness, i feel like something is in my throat and it doesn't move to my stomach, doesn't move and up to my mouth too

Maybe it's because the flavor of the egg is being camouflaged by the other ingredients, that's why when you eat those with eggs on the recipe , you don't feel sick at all.
Eggs specially when boiled , on my part smells not that good so i seldom eat them boiled.

Eggs are good to our health and we need this into our system but others don't like the taste of eggs. Like me i hate the taste of fried eggs especially at the morning with coffee or something to drink or any matched with this food. I like boiled eggs with rice soup or just plain boiled. Well if you feel like to vomit or heavy at your head right after you ate eggs maybe you have a high blood or cholesterol. It was just a speculation of mine. Now if you feel like that don't try to continue eating eggs or else you will suffer again. Maybe it's not good for you. I feel vomit also when i ate fried eggs.

I think you are someway allergic to eggs…it happens to a lot of people who just cant eat eggs. Even if you were not allergic before, it can still happen any time. I think you should talk to a doctor about this. As you said, eggs is one of nature’s best complete food…even toddlers are given eggs without any fear of indigestion!

Hmm...that'w weird. My first guess is that there could be an unknown condition in your body which forbids you to eat eggs. I agree eggs are healthy food but not to be taken regularly, unless you exercise a lot, otherwise it'll clog the arteries. I suggest you see a doctor and ask him what the problem is about. In the meantime, stop having eggs and eat more fruits. Get well soon!

I don't know what to do.... i mean laugh or cry. sorry.
i am not too fond of egg but i can't remember that i have taken more than one egg at a time. You should eat one egg at a time. If the problem continues then i think it's a digestive problem and need to consult with a doctor. Have a nice day.

As our bodies age, we tend to tolerate some foods less than others, it's only natural. My husband's grandmother who drank whole milk all her life had to switch over to lactose-free milk last going off a few years before she passed away. I myself find that I can't eat take-out pizza and fast foods like I used to.
It's a shame that we have to even give up foods that we enjoy. I wish I can be more conforting, but well, it's a fact of life.
