Nope, it doesn't. Certainly, if dreams were to continue from where it ended, then I reckon that the dream must have been trying to signify to us something. Well, if I could, I would really want my dreams to connect but so far, it hasn't happened. LOL.

Heh - wait till you hear my experience.
Yes, I had sequences, but I don't have any examples since my last were literally decades ago.
Lucid dreams are dreams you have when you are conscious you are dreaming. I was able to do it a lot more often when I was younger, especially when I started not liking the scene that was unfolding. So I would walk (and sometimes fly) away from the situation.
But many times my mind will rewind to the time before I achieved lucidity, making me experience again the situation that I did not want to experience. One night I got rewound at least five times before I resigned and just let it play through, but of course it had less intensity since I knew it was a dream. Still it was exhausting.

Sometimes I have such beautiful dreams that I want it to last as long as possible and when I wake up and try to go back to sleep it never happens to dream the same thing. Very few times it happened for me to go back to sleep and continue the dream I had before waking up. Dreams are not something you can control.

Sadly, I've never had a dream that repeats or that continues a previous dream. I say it's sad because sometimes I have the most wonderful dreams. I wish I could...

Sometimes this happens, but often times I can't. Sometimes I am having awesome dreams and I wake up and then I try to fall back asleep and pick up the dream where I left off and I can't. Although other times I pick up the dream where I left off and then it takes a bizarre turn. I think that's what happens when the old dream mixes with the new dream!

Yes. If I'm only awake for a few moments, when I get back to sleep my dream is often related to the one I had before. Sometimes it feels like I only had one long dream the entire night, even if I awoke a couple of times. And sometimes there are recurrent elements in my dreams, although I don't think I've ever had the same dream twice (but one can never know, as we forget most of our dreams).
