Democratic or Communist

Why some people choose "democratic" government than "communist" government? I like "democratic" government, but it seems that "democratic" government is chaos. Not like "communist" government. I see "communist" government as 'perfect,' 'neat' and without 'chaos' although, many people would say that to have a "communist" government, means 'no freedom at all,' but compare the two government, it seems that 'communist' government is better than 'democratic' government. If you leave your bag in one place while living in the "communist," no one would still your bag because people who live in the "communist" are all equal. Neither rich nor poor in the "communist" while people who live in the "democratic" are not equal so, if you leave your bag in one place, someone would still it because people live in the "democratic" has two classes who are either rich or poor.

Let me ask you a question. If a Communist government is so great, how come Communism has failed everywhere it has been tried? If you truly think that there are no rich or poor in a Communist country, You are deluded.

democratic country is a great option as the government is elected by the people itself. you cannot blame single person in democracy. but the best way to run a successful government is by educating the people. however in communist, a single person is responsible for all the actions and the fate of the country depends on his or her thinking.

The problem with the people who live in a democratic country are their behavior. They really do not know how to follow the rules and even if government tried to educate people, some would still misbehave, and also not all people would receive education in school because there are some people who can't afford the money.

this is what to be promoted in developing countries but on the whole an approach is required. people have to learn that the alternate way they invent leads to corruption which ultimately hinders their development as well as country's development.

The idea of a Marxist Communist Society and government sounds great on paper, too bad that it doesn't work and it will never ever work because human beings are too greedy. As long as there is greed and as long as people want what they want, a true Communist government can never exist. Democracy is not perfect either because again people are greedy, people want what they want, and no one can truly have it their way. If some people are happy with something, then other people are not. If some people with their way with something, then other people will not. Yes, there will be a class system and yes, you will have people who get what they want and those that don't get what they want.

I agree with you. Either of the two government are not perfect. I just see something good in communist although I know people would not like it.

Well, truth be told, no government is perfect. All governments are subject to corruption of some kind. Marxist Communism, like I said before, looks great on paper, but it can never ever work because people want too much. People become very greedy and they don't want to live like that. Also, you would still have to have someone ruling the country because people, by nature, need structure and leadership.

Name a communist country that has no crime. Name one where the people are equal. Yes, there is less crime in communist countries, but that is because they have no freedom to choose for themselves. The government chooses for them. Where I live I rarely lock my car doors. My house is usually locked when I'm not home, but not always. I've never been robbed.

He he he he he he. It is better not to have freedom than to have lots of criminals in a free country. It is only my opinion and it is my observation.

It is not the concept of being communist is entirely bad, it is the people's mental health, and their trend to take control instead of letting be free. Most communist countries are in the name of communist, but in fact, they are dictatorship. So, should we rather have a check - and - balance government, or rather to have a dictatorship government, while many people would get executed for small misbehavior. It is your choice.

Ah. Yes. I understand those who are in the communist country of why they prefer to be a dictatorship. I just imagine a dictator parents that always dictate their child to follow the house rules especially parents who are very religious and very devoted to God. They want their child to behave properly and they give what is best for the child. This made me think. Dictator parents are accepted by some of society, but dictator government are disagree by many.

I used to live in a comunist country until 1989 and, believe me,it was a miserable life. Then the revolution came in December 1989 and suddenly everyone believed that things would change for the better, and in some aspects they did:we're free to express ourselves,to travel and work in another country, which was almost impossible during the comunist regime;it's also true that democracy had negative effects especially on our economy which is now very weak and generally I live in a poor country but, honestly,I prefer it like this,I would never want to live under dictatorship again and, anyway, comunism may have been an ideal ideology on paper, but it's obvoius that it failed to reach its goals and I think its 'golden' days are over for good.Honestly,I want to live and die free,it would be a nightmare for me to live under any form of dictatorship, not only comunism!

Democracy is okay. Maybe, democracy is for the people and by the people, and I think, those people who govern democracy has no 'ideal world' on their own. I observed that some of the communist ruler has an 'ideal world' for the benefit of the people.

the ideologies of communists and democrats are completely different. communist governments treat all as equal even if some are lazy. imagine this. two people are working in the same factory. one is very hardworking and earns 100 bucks a month. the other is very lazy but also earns 100 bucks a month. how will the hardworking one think? he will feel that even if he becomes lazy, he will get paid. so why work? when all workers are lazy, production levels go down. the economy of the country also goes down. democracy focuses on meritocracy. the rich are usually the ones who are very hardworking and the poor are the ones who are lazy. in some cases though, the poor are just not thinking hard enough. communist goverments will never work as the people will never feel free even though thats is, rather ironically, the government's aim. why communist lands are safer is because they are ruled via fear. in eastern europe in the post world war 2, many citizens in communist countries try to flee west.no, north koreans also try to flee south. communist ideologies have never, and will not work.
