You are not the first, and I guess you will not be the last, who joins myLot and posts without reading anything first. It is sad that not many read the Guidelines and the FAQs and get off to a slow start here. As you said, you have learnt your lesson so it will not happen again Welcome aboard!

Don't worry. Everybody makes mistakes every now and then, including me. I also had a discussion which was deleted too. Well, as long as you have read the ToS and guidelines, everything will be fine. Just have fun here!

I think this is very easy to do at first. Even if you read the terms of services. Because we are only human and we forget. We do learn through error and the errors of not really reading things through. A few times and you tend to learn the lesson. I don't think I've had a misstep in many months but I could be wrong. Still eventually you'll have an idea what discussions are good and what are violations like the back of your hand.

hi, every newbies here experienced that violation without knowing, even me, when the first time here in mylot, after of how many discussions i started and been deleted, that was the time that i read the rules of mylot.

You are not alone braimer,I guess most of mylotters experienced it also and it's a lesson we shouldn't do next. We just have to be very careful on what discussions we are about to post and what we are about to respond to. I for one have a post discussion deleted and it was also because it is a poll type discussion,now I know what a poll type discussion is,lol! But there are also times I don't know if it is a poll discussion or not,just like your discussion yesterday,I responded to it and unfortunately my response was deleted,lol! I really can't figure out at once if it's a poll type or not,hard! See you around!

hi braimeroh dear you did not read the mylot info first sad to hear it but you are still new and now know you should have got the instructions first before going ahead. now do read all of them and have fun here as you are one among zillions who mylotted first then read the rules. you will learn and earn and have fun too with lots of wondereful my lot friends here. welcome to mylot.you will not lose anyother so relaxand have lots of fun on mylot.lol.

Its a common problem. We do not remember all the guidelines all the time, when you have a discussion deleted, remember the reason, most probably it is something that you forgot was against the guidelines. It is also important to read the guidelines every now and then to refresh ourselves. Don't get down when this happens even the veterans have deleted discussions!

I do understand your situation. I did have my post deleted due to violation. There are times whereby we are so excited to write or inform people about something right and we just keep on writing. Whatever it just write and o not feel bad about it. We do learn from some mistakes. Yes we will do a lot of mistakes and sometime we repeat it again but hey that is life isn't it? Reading the response here, I am so happy to know that most of the senior members here are very supportive, they are not the 'big headed' as what others say. Any how I love myLot.
