petite and clemens... will they return?

i hear that both r going to apply to b free agents.... do u think they will comeback next season?

I don't know about Pettitte but I have a bad feeling for some reason. I hope he does come back though. About Clemens, I don't think he'll be coming back. Me being selfish, I want him to but I realize that he may just want to retire and settle down. :)

i know the logical mindset is well hes gotten to play the game and should retire while hes ahead but the selfish side of me would love to see him in an astros uniform one more season

i think roger clemens would retire for good but who knows after a season in which he would have ranked first in ERA if he qualified. the guys a stud a sure first ballot hall of famer. i really don't know if he has anything else to prove so i think he would retire. i also think pettite would resign with the astros

those are kinda my thoughts as well but you gotta think he didnt have anything to prove last year either he surely doesnt need the momeny and im sure he had nothing to prove something tells me he's one of those that loves the game. Petite I think just wants to look for more options.

Andy is gone, of course you know, but I think Roger will play and I believe it will be for Houston, beginning on June 22!

dellakitty, I thought that Pettite is definitely coming back. As I am rereading this I see that you wrote this 4 months ago. Hahaha silly me. But anyway, I feel that Pettite will be great for us and bring back some good Yankee vibes. As for Clemens, well I would rather not see him pull a Randy Johnson and hurt us. He is getting way to old and could break down any moment and I don't think the Yanks would like that after they would spend so much for him. Let's go Yanks in 07!
