You don;t have to be honest about your experience with pirating music, but a friend of mine had downloaded a few Frank Zappa songs and was sued for a few thousand dollars.
Do you believe that pirating music is truly ethically wrong as it is stealing someone's intellectual property, or do you believe music should be shared universally?

Stealing music is illegal, but there is a problem. For instance, people used to read books, and then give them away or trade them for other books at the 2nd Hand Store. The same with the old records, and Cds and tapes. I go to our Value Village and see lots of cds there, that are almost brand new. Yet if I put them on my hard drive, and also put them on my iphone, that is considered stealing,
I do believe when the artist first records the music, he should be paid. So it seems rather confusingg to me.
