Cant believe my oldes is giong to be 7!

I cant believe that Christmas is only 2 days away. My children are getting so excited. I'm getting even more excited for the fact that in just 7 weeks my daughter will be 7 years old! Where has the time gone? It just flew by. She's not my little baby anymore. She is half way through 1st grade now and it just seems like yesterday I was changing her diaper. I have alot to work with her on expessially her attitude towards her 5 year old sister. She has such an attitude and thinks she runs the show with her. It's not all the time thankfully but it does get old after a while telling her to just leave her alone and stop picking on her. It really is amazing how children change once they start school. I have heard so many things from my children that they learn from school and honestly it's disturbing. I hope everyone has a Merry Chirstmas and a very happy New Years!

Unfortunately, it really isn't going to get better either. My oldest just turned eight about a month ago. She is a very bright young lady, but she also has a tendency to have quite an attitude with her brother and sometimes with her classmates from school. However, I also think that it is amazing to see the ways that she has grown up since she started school. She is halfway through second grade now and I'm anxiously awaiting to find out if she was accepted into a county school for gifted and talented students next year.

My son is going to be 8 in a few months time. This means he can officially ride shotgun. He is growing so tall and skinny. He is still my little boy though. I can still get kisses and snuggles out of him, but he moans and groans about it now. Its starting....
And my son does the same thing with his little sister. He thinks he's THE MAN (his words) of the house, and really he is but he is serious about the whole pecking order of things.

lol....you won't believe how fast the time will go by. My BABY just turned 35 years old and he's my youngest! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours.
