Most importantly, your blog must have the 'ingredients' which are aimed at helping people. As in, you must create content that's yours and the mindset has to be tuned to be helping people. The global audience can sense when the blog is copied or not. If they find something attracting in it, they'll just follow it and maybe they'll track back your link to other high traffic sites.

MAybe u can try fashion blogs instead because the trend is picking up now. U can offer tips on the current fashion, and also share the latest fashion as well as sharing interesting fashion u seen elsewhere.
