What annoying--I mean endearing--habit does your cat have?

One of our cats, Sookie, is a very young female tabby who was abandoned as a kitten and lived for a couple of months at the vet's office before we adopted her. She is small and very cute, but a bit skittish, despite the loads of TLC she gets here. And the other cats make her nervous (except when she is pouncing on them). So we try to be very accommodating of her "special needs," but she has one trait that is a real pain--she won't eat her food unless a human (preferably a grown-up) pets her and sits next to her while she is eating. And, since she is a dainty female, she eats two bites and then walks away. And then comes back 10 minutes later, meowing like her little heart is going to break, and wants to be fed again. And a human has to pet her and sit with her again. And this would go on all day if I let it! It is actually very cute, but after the first month or so, it has become annoying too--and time-consuming. But, as all cat owners know, you are there to serve the cat, so I just keep doing it! What annoying trait(s) does your cat share with you?
