Winter 2010, begone!

I HATE WINTER! I've been ready for spring since around Halloween. I hate the cold, I hate snow, I especially hate ice and I hate when it gets dark so early it's depressing! Did I mention that I HATE WINTER? I'm sure that in a previous life I lived somewhere where it's warm all year round. I never, EVER complain that it's too hot. I can always quickly cool off if it's hot out but if I get too cold I get literally chilled to the bone and stay that way all night long. Did I mention that I HATE WINTER? Annie

The winter is what I look forward to every year. I grew up on an island so practically everyday of my life all I have is sun. Now I live in a state where I barely see the time of day most of the year and I love it! It's even more great that I have snow to have fun with. The snow is really pretty and even if it is cold it is so worth it! It makes me sad when the summer time comes around again though, there's only sun, sun, and sun. But at least the humidity isn't too bad, so its bearable.

well, I live in Texas and endure the ordeal of summer in Texas for the pleasure of the winters in Texas. We are going to have a cold snap tomorrow, but it won't last long.

I prefer spring of course but don't mind the winter as much as i use to. I guess the main reason for that is that since i'm retired i don't have to get out in it like i use to. I still don't like snow & bad roads because i worry about my kids & others being out on them. Welcome to mylot.Hope u enjoy it as much as i do.

I like it when it rains, but it does make me feel depressed too. I like the sun because it makes me happy, but the rain is also nice. I've never seen snow fall in my life yet.

Oh gosh yes, I am so tried already form all the cold, sloppy snow and freezing chills to the point that I think on as daily basis that I need to get someplace warm. I have no clue how I will make it through summer as it is only two days officially that winter started by for me I find it as if it were an eternity.

i like snow and cold til Christmas then i get tired of it. however, i live in Canada and it lasts well into March.

I used to like winter more then I do! The older I get the more I hate the cold and driving my car during winter! If we just got snow and not this really cold weather I could handle it better! That won't happen! So now I get really cautious driving in the winter! Especailly when it snows and gets icy! I also dread having to walk in the snow and on the ice! Sooner or later I will slip and fall! I do that at least once during the winter! Sometimes more! It is not fun!

Well! I am the dissatisfied kind. I want warmth in winter, cold in summer and dryness in the rains. Only spring and I get on well enough.

The winter is already two days old and I'm slightly tiring about it. Of course, once January and February get rolling, the fun has just begun. Of course, while the winter has only officially started, I'm under the impression that it started about a month ago. Also, I think sometimes that we just end up skipping Autumn, going from the warm weather of summer to the coldness of winter. So it is not good times, not good times at all. Still I do not really like the Winter. Out of the four seasons, it is my least favorite season.
