what is "christmas" mean to you??

christmas is coming soon. we can see christmas trees decorated the malls and houses. they who celebrate christmas start to search gifts for everyone they love. what does it means? I mean all the gifts, christmas tree and all decoration for christmas even the santa claus.. How it is connected to Jesus born? what is "christmas" mean to you?

Christmas is the birthday of our Lord Jesus. And that is what it means to me. As we celebrate our birthdays each year, so we also celebrate the birthday of our Creator Who had come to dwell with us 2010 years ago. The world has a real big party and we exchange gifts and share our blessings. Jesus shared His love, so do we share our love too. Ain't it wonderful the world is celebrating Christmas? That means the world is full of believers now.

yes, that's right. how can we know that 25 december is date when Jesus born?
it is right to share gifts to show love..
maybe we should emphasize Jesus than any decoration for christmas.

I don't really care about all the gifts and stuffs. Although yes, it could be nice. Since childhood we had this christmas tree at home and now christmast won't feel so complete without one. But anyway, i think the most important is to spend it with your family.

well, i've never had a christmas tree in my house..
so you think christmas is just that?
though Jesus never told in bible to celebrate His born day..
what you do actually in christmas? just spent time with family?
