Happy Christmas to you, Lady M! I will be going to my cousin's house this evening and tomorrow I will go to my dad's house. I'll get calls from my children, too, which always make my day whatever day it is. I'm glad you have joy in your heart.

Thank you, LadyM! I wish the same to you!
I'm unsure as to how I'll be spending my day. I've been pretty sick since Wednesday with a flu-like something-or-other. I had a flu shot so I'm not sure if it is a flu but it sure feels like one.
I've notified everyone who was supposed to be here tomorrow that our Christmas dinner may have to be put off until Sunday or even next weekend. I haven't even wrapped half the gifts I have for everyone. I haven't had the energy to do all the baking I normally do, things I give as gifts from my kitchen. I know that doesn't matter, since it's all really the spirit of the season, not the gifts or the food, but I still feel bad that I don't have those things ready. Plus, I doubt I have the energy needed to cook the whole meal.
It will probably be best if I put this off until next weekend. But, once the date is established, I'll make sure the baking, cooking, wrapping, etc. is all done by the day we decide on. It's not the date that matters, really, it's sharing, caring and loving that matters. I'm very excited about it, even if it does have to be put off a week.
To you and to everyone else here who will be celebrating Christmas (or other holiday) today and/or tomorrow, I wish you all the very best for this holiday season.
