Google Chrome problem

I use Google Chrome everyday all day and have not had a problem with it for a very long time.
but just a couple hours ago every time I tried to open a new tab I would get a pop up about a virus I tried to heal it,move it to the virus vault and even tried to just ignore it but it kept happening and then it just crashed and would not open so I uninstalled it and try to reinstall it but it won't reinstall.
has anyone else had this problem and if so do you know how to fix it?

Try doing a virus scan on safemode(Make sure that the anti virus is updated) cause some virus or malware tend to hide and difficult to remove when other processes are running, then reinstall Chrome. You may also want to install an anti malware that does not clash with your anti virus like malwarebytes and do the same procedure, good luck
