better to have loved and all that

so the saying is better to have loved and lost then never loved..... well i dont think thats true at all. i would rather not no what this feels like.
i started seeing a guy back in april. i knew i shouldnt have even back then, but yet i still did. i fell for him big time and i still do love him. and yet i no he doesnt love me. i believed everything he said to me for the 1st few months but then i saw it was all crap and yet i still stayed with him changed everything to make him happy and i knew he didnt love me and it wasnt going anywhere. why i did this? i have no idea cos i no full well that i should have ended it a long time. if a friend came to me and asked me what they should do if they were me i would say dump him! but no i didnt then.
so i ended it 2months ago but yet i have still let him stay at mine and spend time with me like we were together but werent. i have now finally have ended it.
but its so hard i just want to be with him..... just wish i never felt like this about him
so do you think its better to have loved and lost or just never no?

It's always difficult to say goodbye to someone you've grown in love with. However, if many people (close to you) would start telling you to leave the guy, then perhaps there's more to it.
I think I would also choose to love and fight for it to the end. If all things fails, and I have done my best, then at least I wouldn't regret losing that love because I gave my all.

hi friend, I still think it is better to have loved than not to have loved at all even though we all were hurt one time or the other cause if you haven't loved you won't have a basis for comparison and would forever be in limbo and that would be worst. I'm really sorry for what you are undergoing thru right now although I'm not privy as to the details. You see some men and I said some only use women to gratify themselves, maybe you could try again and let him see what he would lose if he loses you, try to make him chase you a little bit instead of you chasing him, if all don't work well then just charge it to experience, move on and remember there are millions of other men out there more deserving of your love, take care of yourself

for me love was one of the greatest thing of my life. The girl i loved did break my heart badly, but i still love her from the bottom of my heart. I've learnt alot from the past, but the fact is that i wont be able to be with her all my life :( I have no hopes that ever she will coome to me but still i am waiting for her all these days. It was gud to love her, i wish i could just spend my whole life with her.
