my tattoos.... yours?

I love tattoos too! I don't have any yet, but I plan on getting a bunch. I plan on getting a raven on my right shoulder; possibly the om symbol on my throat; a locust on my left wrist, and something on my back that I can't really explain. but that's just a start. Oh to dream... Haha. One day I will have the money to get all the pieces I want.

I have four right now and plans for three more. My biggest problem is that I want them to be in places where they can be hidden if I need them to be (for a job) but where I don't have to take off clothes to show them off when I want to. So, I'm running out of places to put them!! HA On my back, left side (kind of kidney area) I have an elf sitting on a mushroom. My first real friend in college was/is really into fantasy and playing RPG games and is completely convinced I am an elf. :D On my right side I have a Pisces rune (the one that looks like an H) with two rabbits (inspired by the band AFI from their Decemberunderground album art) - a black one that symbolizes lies and things left unsaid in animal magick and a white one that, in Latin American folklore, symbolizes soul mates (If a woman sees a pure white rabbit, it means she has found her soul mate) - and the words "Through our bleeding, we are one" translated into Gaelic written underneath it all. Between my shoulders I have my Scorpio rune (the M with an arrow like a scorpion tail) colored like the Irish flag entwined with a purple Celtic knot. On my right calf is my favorite so far. It's my first tribute to the band that saved my life, Kill Hannah, illustrating a lyric from one of my favorites of their songs, Crazy Angel - As your wings discard their feathers on the ground, I see a halo up above you. The other three I have planned are two more for Kill Hannah, for my other two favorite songs - one is their bleeding butterfly logo with crying eyes in its wings for "Why I Have My Grandma's Sad Eyes" and the other one will be the words "I'll be brave tonight." in the singer/songwriter's own handwriting (I'm hoping he will reward my creativity, since he loves the one I already have, with creativity of his own and do more than just write it for me) probably around my ankle. And the third is for my sorority but I can't decide what it should be.

That picture you posted of yours is great! My only tattoo (so far) is actually in the same spot - my left thigh. It's a red and orange dragon. I plan on getting a matching one on the other thigh in the near future only in blues and greens and at some point I'd like to get a blue waterlily on my lower stomach with my son's name as part of the stem.

i love tatoos. but i just can't bring myself to get one. i am afraid of needles and i honestly think it hurts to have them done. not to mention having to sit there the whole time watching it. I like to look at the tat books and see them on people. but i am a chicken i am like shaggy when it comes to needles i run and quickly.lol

wooww!that's a lot..I have only 7..on both sides of my leg.and another on the right part..both sides of my front arm..a lowerback..at the back .. ;)

all i have is a j on my left leg for now!!!! =)
