Oh my God, I have a full stomach now. Since Christmas Eve I have been eating lots of good food. Today, I have been visiting my family, relatives and friends house. This is the day whereby in my kampung most of the Christians open their house for any visitors. There were cases even in our own house where somebody that we didn't know came to house, we accepted them with an open heart. We know that just like we welcome Jesus again in our house, heart etc the strangers that visited our house had became our friends@relatives. Now I am at home waiting for my brothers and sisters, realtives and friends to come and visit. This is an open house so there is no specific time for them to come. They may come as the like. How do you celebrate your Christmas? Merry Christmas!

Hello friend, that's amazing that around Christmas everyone can visit you, even strangers. Here people spend time with their family in the Christmas Eve, next day is a holiday so we all rest or some people invite guests.
Christmas was a good time here years ago, we had city celebrations with a lot of decoration and it really was amazing. From year to year, our celebrations start to be cheaper and cheaper, people poor and more poor, so now only the family and next day guests, if we invite them.

Merry Christmas! Like you, my stomach also did some tasks- to accept foods that almost impossible to digest. during this period, family members prepare lots of foods anticipating visitors (relatives and friends). Its kind of an open house to relatives and friends. We even have exchange of gifts with some kind of a theme " something red, hard and long" and the likes. But Christmas is always about gathering. It is where family members gather for the holidays. And second, we christians specially catholics, feel incomplete without celebrating or doing the traditional simbang gabi (nine mornings novena prior to Christmas day. We wake up early because the mass will start at 4 am and showing off our new pair of shoes, new shirts and etc. Lastly, Christmas is more on remembering the childhood of Jesus Christ (for us Christians). Happy new year folks.
