How do you connect SE K750i to a computer with Windows 7?

I just bought a netbook. It's an hp netbook with Windows 7 operating system. Now I want to connect my cellphone (Sony Ericsson K750i) to my PC so that I can use it as a modem or use other functions such as transfering files/pictures or send text messages via my netbook.
However when I tried to install the PC suite from the driver CD, the installation program complained that it is not compatible with Windows 7 (It is only compatible with Windows XP/Vista). So I tried to find the newest version of PC Suite (version 6.0) on the Internet and downloaded it.
After I installed the newest PC Suite on my netbook, I was disappointed to find out that the program actually is not compatible with my SE K750i because it is considered an old cellphone.
Is there anyway for me to connect my cellphone SE K750i to my netbook with Windows 7?

you can use myphoneexplorer application to send sms lots more with this cool software try it too

MyPhoneExplorer is indeed a cool software for Sony Ericsson phones. I will try to install this program on my netbook and see how it goes. But as far as I remember there is no internet connection feature in this program. So how do I connect to the internet using my phone as a modem?

I guess you're right. I just have to create the connection manually. But instead of using the cables, I decided to connect my phone to my netbook through the bluetooth connection, which is more practical. Thank you for your suggestions. They've been very helpful.
I am curious. Do you happen to know the difference between "WMC Modem" and "WMC Data Modem"? When I connect my phone to my netbook I find these two modems on the modems list.
