West ham fans, was the team just sold?

I heard something on the news a few minutes ago that an Icelandic investor had bought the English football team West Ham United and that the deal will be signed on Monday. What are your thoughts about that?
I had hardly even heard about West Ham untill rumours started about Eggert Magnusson and other investors putting in bids to buy the team. Are they any good?

Yes, Eggert and his team lead by Björgólfur Guðmundsson are bying West Ham. I think it might be a better investment than when Icelandic investors started buying stocks in Stoke. If Björgólfur is behind it, I would trust it's a good investment. He didn't get where he is with bad investment. Everything that man touches turns into gold so I think I'll bet on West ham from now on.

hmmmm i wouldnt bet at the moment! we are terrible, cant seem to win many games. I have faith tho in the new owner
