Choosing your life partner : kind or intelligent?

Hi mylot friends, When choosing a partner to marry what would you see in them ? Would you prefer someone who is kind and loving over intelligent and brash or would you prefer the other way round? Would looks, money, education.... also matter? What other qualities would you check out too?

None of that sort,you just fall in love and before you know it your getting married, funny but most single people will find out what I mean when their there, and I've been with my partner for 15 years

Lovely! What exactly did you see in your partner in the first place to fall in love with her/him? What made you fall in love? There has to be something like a force which attracts us to the other person. Why would we just choose one person and not the other billions around and stick to them that long. What keeps you both together?

I've been asking myself that same question now for 15 years
,seriously maybe just the simplicity, I don't know, I can explain hundreds and thousand of things except this one

none of that matters when you fall in love with somone you dont sit down and think are they clever or what. You want to be with them because of the way they are towards you if i had to pick i would say kind more than intelligent.

I agree with you. Kindness is definitely beatiful and makes the person really loving. Somehow I have never ever come across a person who is kind and clever at the same time.Intelligence in a person is also a very highly appreciated quality though, intelligent people tend to be a bit selfish and dominating too.
