What is an ACCA? I recently graduated with my MBA. It was one of the best experiences I've had. I enrolled in an accelerated program where I completed it in less than one year as opposed to the traditional two year program. I opted for a MBA degree for the plethora of options you have when searching for a career. You are able to take the skills and knowledge into any industry. A MBA degree will definitely open up more doors of opportunity for anyone.

An engineering degree gave Dwight Brown the technical skills that help him create the newest cars coming off the line at General Motors. But an MBA helps him with the business side of his job, in product development. Brown, 25, melds his engineering and marketing knowledge to build the cars that customers want. “I wanted to get an MBA because I hoped it would broaden my understanding of why corporations do the things they do, and understand the business reasons for taking the projects that they take,” said Brown, who earned an MBA from the University of Iowa this year. He started with General Motors full time in June, but he previously worked with the company through a co-op program as an undergrad at Iowa State University. While the MBA path has worked for the former Iowan, it’s not for everybody, he said. A full-time program means giving up two years of your life, being saddled with school debt and losing out on job income.
