What are some good engineering schools in the US? I know that the best schools are obviously MIT, Stanford, and Berkeley, but i have no chance at getting in at those. I will probably graduate in the top 10% of my class with a GPA of around 3.65. Any suggestions?

University of Illinois has a good enginering department, with several people i know having gone through and graduated from the program. They say that it has given them a good balance of practical experience, theory, and applications classes. All of them have jobs in their field.

I was planning on going into Engineering myself but I don't have the brains for it anymore. Anyways, if you want you could look into this school. This was the one I was going to go to. It's called Saint Martin's (its located in Washington state.) Its a decent school based on the things I've read about it. Look into it and let me know what you think. If you don't want that most Universities offer great programs for engineers.

Thanks, I looked at that school online, it looks good but i don't really want to go to school across the country in Washington state. I'll probably end up going somewhere closer.
