Why are American generally unpleasant?

Now, can we be calling all Americans bad??? While it's true at the wrong time in a big city people can be a bit short, most Americans are pretty friendly. Southern Hospitality is well known in America. No country comes to the aid of the people of this world like Americans. Many will give you the shirts off their backs. Venture to another part of America. Give us another chance before you decide. There are mean people in all countries. That doesn't mean everyone is mean. You are always welcome!!

Welcome to My Lot. Firstly, I'm going to admit that I have never travelled to the States as much as I would love to. I live in London. I'm guessing that you have travelled to the States and for some reason or another you had a negative or bad experience. I don't think it's true that all Americans are bad though! You will get a bad apple in all countries, there will always be the nice people and by the same token there will always be those that are not so nice! I think that if you travel to the States again you may have a more positive experience. Andrew

Not all American's are bad. Some of us just know how to behave correctly. I do admit some people are animals when it comes to people from other countries but that's because they are just racist / prejudice. If you find the nicer people in America you will say that they are cool. Every where you go in the world there are mean people who will dislike you.
