I have this cat whose favorite food is uncooked food. Is it natural or normal for domesticated cats to want raw food over cooked food?

Hello. I think it's normal for cats. My cat is also the same. He prefer uncooked meats. Maybe they really want the smell of fresh meats.

same with my cat. he loves to eat raw meat(specially raw meat of fish), i think for the same reason as stated above? but he eats cooked food too. i think it depends, they all have different taste buds, just like us.

A cats natural food is raw meat and more specifically the whole of a small animal like a mouse will be eaten (with the exception of the head and possibly the tail) There is a well established movement for promoting the feeding of raw food to cats though it's not caught on very much because of the work involved in preparing the food which must be fresh every day. So your cat is just following it's natural instincts in liking to eat raw meat.

I think that it is completely natural. In the wild, how many cats do you see sitting around a camp fire roasting their meat? Heck, even if they could, how many cats do you know that would have the patience to wait for the meat to cook? The little dears are id with fur. :-)

Haha, like a wild cat The wild cats love to all the fish, he hated with a special diet cat (maybe it was strange!?). The proof is in the morning when I cook fish, when I woke up from a nap, my fish is gone! Cats also like mice and hamsters, the evidence again! My Hamster was almost eaten by a black cat. Then they like to poultry, the evidence: my sister keep chickens, in the morning ... just stay head.

It's normal for cats to be fond of raw food. However, the pet owner should not let his cats be used of eating raw food often as it can cause different kinds of diseases for cats. Besides, your cat's breath will smell really awful if you let him eat raw.

Choosing the Right Food for Cats. 1. Care needs to be concerned because the cat is a cat is a carnivore which means he needs a source of animal ingredients such as meat, fish or chicken in their diet. No vegetables are best for cats, no animal on their food source, they will lack nutrients and can endanger their lives. 2. If you want to give a canned food Cat Food, is okay. But you have to choose and adjust to the age of the cat. If you are still a small cat, give food to a small cat and vice versa. For cats that have a mind body, give low-calorie foods. 3. There are several types of cat food are available: dry, half wet, and cans. Fresh water should always be available. Do not be too much to give a cat milk, because it will cause diarrhea in cats. If this happens be prepared to take the cat to the Cat Doctor.
