In the last match, Balotelli showed how good a footballer he is. He scored a very good hat trick in the match. But if there is one thing that overshadows his football, then that is his big mouth. Not only snubbing other players around him, he also does not get along well with his managers!!
I think that could be the downfall of a very good footballer!!
Cheers!

I didn't hear what he said but self promotion is not good, and frankly Messi is at least one of the top 5 players in the world, It's difficult to compare talented players but one thing is true all of them lack skills in some area, for Messi it's using his head, he's just too short, otherwise he is a formidable player.

Balotelli is a good player. In fact, I kind of like him when he burst into the scene. However, his skills come with a big ego. For him to say that he is the best, next to nothing, come on, what has he won? As much as I hated Ronaldo, I believe he is miles ahead. Not forgetting the likes of Iniesta, Xavi, Fabregas, Torres, etc etc.

I don't like this type of people who praise themselves. They can do their job as well as they can, but they must let others to decide if they are good or not. I haven't seen Balotelli playing too many times, but he cannot be compared to Messi. As for better players than him, there are a lot.

I think Balotelli has an over-inflated view of himself by saying that. There are very few player that can be compared with Messi and he is not one of them.
However, Balotelli is young and still learning at this point of his career so I can't say I'm too surprised with his commentaries.
