Have your life ever mirrored something that happened in a movie?

I tend to watch lots of movies. And while I know that movies are really for escapism and entertainment..more and more I find myself wondering are things that happen in movies so far fetched that it can only be something conjured up from hollywood? Or has something you've watched mirrored your real life? If so, what movie and what happened?

Movies are a mirror of actual life events, at least most of them. The fictitious types are, well, creations of the mind. My life had been a mirror of a lot of movies. I just don't wanna compare my life with those movies coz i believe that my life is unique and it's entirely different from the movies i saw.
