use of cell phone

I personally don't use my phone for musics, games or watching movies. No cell phone has big enough screen for me to watch movies on, I have an ipod I listen to music with & I have ps3 at home to play games. I only have 1 phone & I use it for work reasons as well as personal reasons. I do use internet on it but mainly because of my work. I mainly use phone calls & emails & text messages. Camera comes in handy when I need to take a picture. I look up directions on my phone, too.

I only have a nokia 6120 which has a built in camera and also you can browse the net. However, I'm only using it mainly for texting and calling.It is also handy when I go out with my family since it can double as a camera. From there I can download and upload our pictures. I do not use it for surfing the net because it is costly to do that. I'll more comfortable using the pc for that purpose. Sadly, my phone was 'washed' by my 3 year old daughter and i haven't had it fixed yet...

I like to take good advantage of my cellphone. Besides making a call or sending SMS. I also use my cellhpone to listen to the songs, watch movies and surf the net. I also use it to make a Skype call since it will be very cheap for me to call abroad. Sometiems I will play the games from my cellphone. So you can see actually the communication is not so important for me. I pay attention to its App much more. I love China

I use my cellphone for making important calls and sms but sometimes especially when Im not in office or if Im in a travel, I will use it to update my facebook and check emails.sometimes i used it too to check my bank account since my salary will go directly to my savings bank account.

I use it mainly for texting and phone calls. I only recently got a phone with internet capability so I will check my Gmail and my Facebook sometimes like while waiting for the movie to start in a movie theater. I am not one of those persons that is forever on their phone however and I prefer to access the internet through a computer or laptop as opposed to a phone especially since there aren't that many mobile sites. It eats up the battery life like crazy so I don't browse too much. I mostly use it for a dictionary when reading and too lazy to get up. I've watched a few youtube videos on it but prefer watching on better screens. Just having the option is really cool though.

Well, we basically use it for sending SMS and calling. As for me, I am a music lover. So I choose phones that suits my style. I always pick music phones. I mostly use my phone for listening to the music I really like. I also use it for gaming and seldom for internet browsing. I also use it as a calculator, keeping important notes and/or reminders, alarm clock, time-keeper, dictionary, and converter(since my course do a lot of mathematics). My cellphone's really of great use, and I rely on it most of the time. However, I never wanted to watch anything on my phone, cause it might catch some virus from harmful sites.

Me too .. My phone will play songs, takes photos and videos, and surf the net, but I only use it for making phone calls or sending texts, or maybe, if I see something out of the ordinary, taking the odd photo. It is far to small to surf the net, and it would soon use all the memory if I was to take video. No I guess my phone is primarily for phoning. _Derek

For me cellphone is a device using which I can make and attend calls. Also, I can send soem messages. Earlier it was very popular to have a cellphone with Camera and misic playing abilities but now a days it's just a calling device for me. Basic use of cellphone is what I am doing

That question is easy, I don't have a cell phone. I chose to use a landline because I don't want to be available anytime.

I mainly send text messages and sometimes make calls. I also browse the web using my phone and listen to the radio with it. Most of the moments I want to capture as photos are also taken using it since it has a decent camera with flash. I use it too as an alarm so I can wake up early for work every weekdays and Saturdays.

For me I use my cell phone which is a blackberry for phone calls, texting and basic web surfing/twitter/facebook. I dont watch movies on my phone or play games really as I think that just kills the battery. Perhaps if I had a phone more geared for movies and games like the iphone I would change my mind but for now I don't do that.

yes, that's absolutely right. for myself, I use the phone to make phone or sms. because my phone is just a simple phone and nothing more features / good. and if I want to listen to a music, surf or play, that I usually do with a laptop. because with my laptop could one please do so.

my phone mostly for calls and sms but we must utilize all its features, also I use my phone or mobile internet modem for read the atest news. If the spare time I also use it for gaming. buy mobile phones recommended for their intended purpose,if only for calls or sms why buy an expensive phone, and vice versa

Well, cellphone is created for calls and mms. I have two phones. The first one is a touchscreen and the other is just a normal one. I use the TS for entertainment purposes only like listening to music, browsing the internet, games and apps. etc. Why? because, i cannot text faster in TS. The other one is for MMS and CALLS. :)

i don't call much.. i don't even send text messages first, only if someone will txt me. my cell phone is used as an alarm and i listen music most of the time. i sometimes play Mahjong. i don't play computer/tech games but it's installed in my phone when i got it and i kinda like it.. while am killing my time. i don't use it to go online. i use my laptop.. it's mainly for alarm and music..

I use mine for calling mostly, but I also read my email, browse the internet at times, but I don't listen to music on it, as I don't have any on it. I am enjoying my phone a lot, even though it doesn't have flash, but it is soon to get it. I do enjoy browsing the internet as well as checking and reading my email. I have posted a few discussions and responses in here from my phone, and it really does a pretty good job of it, as well. I have an Android smartphone, which is really a nice phone, and I am glad I bought it. Take care, and have a very good day.

I only use my mobile for texts and phone call making. The harsh irony that follows all of these smart phones, is at the end of the day, the apple iphone is not as good as texting as a standard phone, as you cannot "feel the buttons". And the blackberry is too large. No, my next phone i want a flip phone. They have better battery life, and are very good at texts and phone calls. THey are also more scratch resistant, and you are less likely to "pocket phone" someone.

I use my cell phone to do business. I actually sell electronic load/top up funds, prepaid cards, gaming cards, etc. Of course, I use it for basic functions like sending SMS and calls. I use my Iphone for doing WIFI. If you want to know how to turn your phone to an ATM, you can PM me. :)

Like you in too use my phone for general use only as to make call texting and music only...for watching movies and surfing mostly i prefer my pc as i enjoy watching on it
