Hello Dio,
Yes, I do love photography.I used to like it from my college days itself but then i didn't have a good enough camera. I had that film - based camera back then in which you could not shoot a lot of experimental images as it would lead to wastage of the film. But now that I'm earning, I got a brand new stylish Canon IXUS digicam of my own and now I experiment a lot.

I appreciate photography very much. Both the art, medium, and products of photography grows on me. I mean, sometimes I can look at a picture for hours on end and bit by bit I learn every detail, impression, and mood that the picture possibly has. I can also see it again for a second time and realize another perspective.
As for the process, I admire the fact that a slight change in light or movement can alter the total feel of a photo but it is up to the photographer to capture that specific moment and perspective
However, I dont have the funds to buy a DSLR. Those are for serious hobbyists and professionals. I also dont like the fact that Id have to bring around a camera that seems to weigh a ton. So point and shoot cameras are the best that I could work with. Ive gotten to know my camera well and Ive been able to take great pictures with it.

Hello dio123, I love taking pic's also I thing I may have a nack for it my pic's are always centered and come out pretty good. If I had an expensive camera I could take some great pictures. When you take picture you notice the real beauty in the world and it is rather calming to my soul. Then you can realize the world is not all bad and that God is in control. Happy New Year to you and yours.

I love taking photographs and I almost always have my camera with me but I can’t say that photography is a hobby of mine simply because I am not all that good at it even with a good digital camera. The good pictures I‘ve taken have been flukes I think! You are probably talented because photography is an artistic skill. I hope you are keeping a portfolio of all your beautiful work!

Hello dio; photography has been a major hobby in and throughout my life. Always have camera on hand. I enjoy taking photos for a number of reasons. Mainly to capture memories of course but also to paint from. capturing a visual effect, colors and shapes.
I also take quite a few pictures in different formats and settings to get a better idea of what works best under certain conditions. My latest has been trying to get some decent night time shots of the light from the moon, on trees or of the moon itself, through the trees.
Like yourself, I love to take photographs.
I enjoy looking through the photos as well, as time consuming as it can sometimes be.
I enjoy entering photo contests as well.
I was hoping to get a newer camera this year, during the boxing day sales but unfortunately there are more pressing matters that need funding at this time. Looking forward to next year where I may be able to make the investment then.
Happy Snapping and all the Best for 2011!

Hi dio123, I have great interest in snapping photos though. Though I have a phone with camera function, my digital camera is still always with me. For, I don't want to miss any opportunity to keep the precious image of whatever I have come across. They are all images which are to keep forever for further enjoyment and appreciation during my leisure or sharing with my loved ones and friends
I have tons of photos keep in my pc. There are images of landscapes, seascapes, plants, foods, buildings, etc which I snatched during my vacations in different places. There are also lots of photos taken during happy occasions, like celebration of birthday, wedding, anniversary, ... Some of them are kept in photo albums placing on the sitting room shelve for the convenience of visitor to go through
Happy posting

I also love taking pictures. Now that I have a digital camera, I take a whole lot more pictures because I don't have to pay for processing. I just load them into the pc and upload them to my photobucket file. I'm always digitally sending pictures to people. Save a lot of money on paper and ink.
