I'm kinda confuse, every after meal I experience hiccups and though I drink lot of water, it takes long before it stops. They say my hiccups is different aside from it is too loud, it is also frequent. I can't breathe easily whenever I'm experiencing that. Does it mean something about my health? I refused to go for check ups because it seems like it's normal. Anyone who could help?

I don't wish to be rude but do you eat quickly or with your mouth open? Sometimes if you are swallowing too much air with your food it can cause hiccups after eating. If this is the case, I suggest you try to eat more slowly, if not do go for a medical check up to make sure that there is nothing else going on.

Uhmm I eat gradually, and slow. So I think I really have to go for a check up. Because things appear to be abnormal.

hiccups are normal they are obstruction in the airway or GI tract so we need to drink water to flush food.

I don't think it is related to any medical problem but it is better to consult a docyor on that and get yourself satisfied. Try controlling your breath for as long as possible when you get these hiccups. In my case they go when I try to control the breath for some time. Don't over exert yourself to avoid further complications.

I don't know, but I observe that it is recurring every after meal. That's why somehow it bothers me.
