PTCs versus small task sites - which makes more money?

I am a member of many ptcs and also a member of many small task sites, such as mturk, microworkers, shorttask, clicknwork, clickworker, etc. I was wondering which method acrtually makes me more money, based on time spent. It seems to me that the small task sites are actually a better use of one's time, because even though most of the tasks pay small amounts (5 cents or less), the small task sites seem to be a little more reliable and legit. I am not quite as worried when I do the small tasks about getting paid eventually. With the ptc sites, I almost always have fears that the site will turn out to be a scam and I will never get paid. I know that some ptc sites are legit, but they pay very small amounts of money (less than 1 cent) per click. So, the amount of time spent clicking frequently results in earning one or two cents. What it all comes down to is that borth methods require a fairly large amount of time to invest in order to get a small amount of money earned. Still, it's better than nothing - at least, you can make some moneydoing both activities. So what do you think? I would be interested in hearing about your experiences. I have an open mind on the subject and would like to hear what others have done to successfully earn money. Please free free to comment...
