It is a craze in my country that all parents will try to get their children to attend the "top" schools. They are willing to go through great distance just to secure a place for the children. For me personally, it does not matter is the children is attending a top school or not. In order to be academically good, the child must be in an environment that he/she is able to learn at their pace. Beside the school syllabus is set by the minister and therefore, every children is learning the same thing.

School does matter a lot. It matters not only for the educational part of things but also for the social part of it.

Yeh if you think about it then school does matter as if you have no schooling then you cant get a good job which is what most parents out there want there children to do.You will also really struggle with life as you wont be able to read or write and it will put a lot more strain on the parents relationship with each other it will also be really annoying for the child when he or she has no friends as he or she wont be able to socialize.
Here in the United Kingdom it is the LAW that every child must go to school no matter what background or anything.

Yes schools does matter to a childs progress as it helps them socialize with others .
they get a varity of things to do;exercise & option to work with groups of people .Plus it gives parents a break from there kids witch they may have spent the first five yrs with them 24-7 .
