What do you think of Glee's Darren Criss?

Another Filipino has landed a role in the second season of Glee and his name is Darren Criss. Darren's mother is a Filipina and his father is Irish-American. I've never really watched Glee except of course when Charice appeared in it in one of the first few episodes of the second season.I found myself watching clips of the show again when I found out that another Filipino has made it to Glee. I saw Darren's youtube clips first... and yes, he is indeed good-looking and his black curly hair was striking..ha!ha! I then watched his performance of Soul Sister and Baby It's Cold Outside...and i must say he's really good-looking with his clean-cut look and he really has a great voice. As a Filipino, I'm really proud of him. I hope he makes it big in hollywood.

I think he's cute! But I really don't get why he has to wear those pink=framed glasses!!!

I like the character and think he is great singer. The last poster is right many new characters do end up evil and sure hope this character is good. I'm hoping he is around a long time.

I haven't had a hollywood crush ever since Robert Pattison in Twilight. So it's nice to see a cute guy like him onscreen. I actually prefer him since he seems like a nice guy with a wholesome image and a great voice. Unlike Robert who seems to be unkept and aloof off screen. He smokes too which is a turn off for me. I hope Darren remains humble and I wish to see more of him on Glee. :)

I just typed out this big long response and it did not go through. Let me try again. So far I like his character. He provides a positive friend for Kurt and is helping him to understand his sexuality in a positive way. I also think that he sings very well. I enjoy hearing him sing. I just hope he doesn't turn evil like these new characters sometimes do.

At first, his character just seemed too perfect and bland, but he was likable and a positive influence for Kurt.
But then Silly Love Songs episode came. And that's when his character was fleshed out. The way his serenating of a closeted homosexual person that went arwy really fleshed his character out as flawed and over-optimistic in a world that does not tolerate gays.
You know what, I don't care if he was ugly or handsome, he's a great performer. Singing, not too much, dancing and blocking, very wonderful. He was most famous for playing Harry (and writing many of the songs) in the fanmade Harry Potter Musical. Check him out there. And he auditioned for Finn Hudson long ago.

I absolutely love watching Glee. When the second season showed it was even better than the first especially with the new musical addition, the Dalton Academy Warblers. Darren Criss is absolutely amazing. My all time favorite performance is When I Get You Alone on the Silly Love Songs Episode. Seeing the Warblers dancing around in a GAP store was genius. I felt as if Blaine Anderson, Darren Criss, was singing to me...*sigh* :D
