Greetings, mate :) I have a theory in how to get friends in the internet. I have applied it in social networks such as facebook,myspace and friendster. To get a friend, you need an event. Something you two share in common. From there, you talk about that and slowly inch away from that topic. This is however, not a guarantee that both of you will become friends. You will notice if the person you are talking to is interested. Look at the speed of reply, the quality of the answers, and if you are sensitive enough, you can feel if the other person is just not interested or doesn't want to talk about that. I could tell you this : find something in common, build from that and slowly inch your way to other things.

i think internet is the heaven of making friends.no problem of disturbing anyone,no problem of getting slapped.you can meet anyone in any social sites like orkut,facebook,mylot,twitter etc.. and making friends is very easy their.you can meet friends,you can know their likings even you can see their pictures.

Well,I think mylot and other social sites are the perfect opportunities for making friends because this is where people who share the same interests can meet and share their thoughts.I am new to this site,but I'm sure I'll have more and more friends here;it's almost impossible not to make friends here.
