Do You Ever Have A Hard Time Finding Discussions To Respond To?

This has been my problem with Mylot as of lately. It seems that I just can't find any topics I want to reply to. Not to say that they are horrible or whatever, but most I see are things I just have nothing to respond with or can say anything worth typing out. It's primarily been why I haven't been very active on MyLot recently. Does anyone ever have this problem with having a hard time finding discussions you want to reply to?

Hi Darth, Sometimes, it does take me a little while to find something interest to respond to, maybe everyone is responding instead of writing articlesSo, I just pull down the discussions of the day and just pick and choose something interesting to respond to, like your posed question.Just find something to respond to, after all that is one of the ways we get paid.

"Like your posted question" Thanks! :) But yeah, usually when I get on Mylot, I try to find at least one thing I can reply to for that day even if it turns out to be that's the only thing I can.

In oder for me to be successful for the day, I have to respond to more than just one post per day, so I pick and choice the best ones for the day and give my best response on the discussion.

Yes I have had that problem here lately, I can't think I guess I can't think of what discussion to start or how to respond to one I just fell lost here lately, You are not alone!!! And if I find one to respond too I really don't know how to respond to it so I just keep searching and I will come back to it when I decide how I am going to respond to it. I guess it is this long non vacation that is clouding my mind, I want to go back to work because I have to but I will be searching again because I will not have a 2 week non paid vacation again next year especially at CHRISTMAS TIME!!!! Well have a good day and good luck in responding and starting discussions here.

That's usually what it is for me. I see a lot of topics that I just don't know how to respond or I don't know anything at all about what the discussion is about. And thanks, good luck to you too!

Oh, you are not the only with such dilemma, DartJustice. If I'm not here to post a topic (which is mainly my personal rants about my boring life)I am scouting the top discussions and my friends' if there is something I can share my two- cents worth. But sometimes, even if I wanted to really make my presence known here, it is impossible because like you there's nothing I can respond to... Maybe, it is the mind blocking us to completely process everything, the not-in-the-mood state to think that even the simplest of topic is so hard to respond to. It does happens but don't worry, it is just a temporary thing.:)

Greetings, mate :) I actually do feel your pain. This is really an issue for me. I honestly don't like to respond for the sake of responding. I think it is our responsibility to add to the discussion and not simply answer "Yes", "No" or some answer that wasn't well taught of. I am not that active in mylot either and this is one of the many reasons. I just wish that people would stop answering for the sake of answering so, this site can be better and more informative and make money as we enjoy doing this.

That's how I am. I don't like to respond to just respond and I especially don't like to respond with really short answers. If I can't honestly type out something beyond a couple of words or a sentence, I'd just rather not respond like you.

Yes, I have that problem. But it goes both ways. There was a fantastic topic posted yesterday by a new member and no one has replied except me. It was "Why do some meat be cooked medium rare but others have to be fully cooked?" by ilumpruj. It seems people only want the repetitive drabble and don't want to use their brains on anything vaguely technical.

I think you're right. I have the same problem with my discussions that I create (and hopefully it's not just that they are horrible lol). Most of the discussions I created, usually no one will reply or if anyone even does, it's usually just a handful of people and responses. It's uncommon my topics will go beyond ten replies, if even close. Though maybe it's just a case of the ones I create are ones not everyone can reply. *shrug*

Hi Darth Justice, It has been a problem to me too. Honestly recent times I am hardly finding any topic to where I can contribute. I don't know the exact reason but recent time hardly I have ever answered ten discussions a day. I think most of the topics are one and the same with a little difference. I think for me I need to take a break for a couple of days after 31stDecember and comeback fresh. So that I can escape frome this monotony of topics which I feel. One of the ways that I use to find good discussions to respond to is to go to my friends' profile. At the profile page I can see the discussions that my friend has responded to and if the discussions interest me, I would make a respond. The other way is to find a topic using the search box. I get rewarded for using the search. Sometimes I find many interesting discussions that I can respond to.

For me yes it is very hard specially if the discussion is hard to understand.

I think it probably happens to all of us in Mylot in some time on the other. To prevent this u guys should choose your interests carefully so that if any discussion from that type of interest then you are able to answer it. There are so many fantastic discussions in mylot which doesnt get the deserved response. This explains that many guys here are going for the easy and simple discussions. When it happens to me i thoroughly check all the discussions of my interest and also search for older discussions ..

Not with me much. That might be because I only open topics that catch attntion. And once I open them I rarely close them without responding. I can atleast manage to jot down few words atleast. But your problem could also have been because of your long time in mylot. You must have responded to so many of them that you are finding them now to be boring.

Sometimes, i don't see any topic that interests me to respond too. I only respond to those topics that really interests me. If that is the case, i start a new discussion. Sometimes though, nobody is interested to respond, so i try to read the discussions and gauge from there the most commented topic so i can also start a topic worth responding.

Yes it happens to me sometimes because more often than not I look at new and recent discussions so my choice is limited, when this happens I search all the interests and look for things that I can relate to , good luck

Yeah. I really have a hard time finding discussions. I do not feel to answer other topics. I just find some topics which I feel to respond. That's why I'm having a hard time in making my posts many.

No... well , I registered yesterday and every time I access the site , i just open a random discussion and spill my thoughts out , if you wanna find more discussions , maybe try adding more interests , that way you'll be notified more often if new discussions are being opened. Good luck !
